I've run across numerous bike shops selling Shimano Components on ebay.

When it's a choice of making money or violating some so-called agreement, I guarantee shops are selling where they can when they can.

Not doing so is like shooting yourself in the foot and closing the door on thousands of potential customers.

Recently was looking at Specialized Diverge...Called on a bike shop and they indicated because of their agreement with Specialized they couldn't ship it to my house. Called another bike shop and they were more than willing to ship it. It's not like Specialized would know if they shipped it to a customer or sold it in the store.
