I mentioned this earlier, but around 2012 or so Wheels Manufacturing offered stainless steel hangers for many popular carbon bikes. They were correct in realizing there was a market for stiffer hangers, but forgot why there are replaceable hangers in the first place. I wonder how many frames were destroyed by screwing these stainless crowbars into carbon dropouts and having even a minor crash. They were gone the next year.
