I'm not so much concerned about the ebike factor myself. I am not in the camp that thinks ebikes typically result in as much or more exercise for the user than do bicycles. But for most kids I don't think it is a choice between ebikes and bicycles. Rather, it is a choice between couch potato-ing, video gaming, or death scrolling and an ebike. And I would rather have them outside.

Now if you want to hear about the other fears I have for the future ... well ... those are many. Just not this one.
