Humans seem to have a weird sensibility to noises around them. Neither bike nor music related -- people typically dislike it when someone is talking on their phone in a closed space -- eg. like in a restaurant. However, it seems somehow way less offensive somehow if instead 2 people sitting next to each other are having a conversation.
Typically people in a restaurant don’t practically shout or have their speaker on full volume. Had a dinner in Florida practically ruined by a nob loudly talking to someone over the phone with zero regard for the people around him. It was selfish and rude.
