I would think riding a standard bike, and just slowing down some would be far better.
I live in a rural area with no clubs, pretty much just me.
I ride for maybe 40 minutes ja day to stay in shape at 68 years old.
BUT, if they want to continue to ride with their friends, wouldn’t you agree that an e-bike is a good way to keep those connections rather than slowly riding solo? Connections to others are one of the most important aspects of life, especially as we age.
