I just got this and the new valve head has a shorter tube (annoying but bearable) but also has the pump end adapter thing already inserted in the tube and the pump also already has one in place, after my having pulled the old plastic-head tube off it. Neither seem to be removeable by a human. How did you deal with that, may I ask?
