For those wondering: the bike has held up nicely over the past year or so. I did have to get it tweaked by my LBS as components and cables settled but it's still chugging along. Seat, post, stem, and bars are now all AliExpress carbon fiber parts but I still haven't gotten the tubeless conversion done. I'm gonna ride with my buddy this weekend and make a final decision on that based on how many sharp rocks I see out and about.
