I took it for a short 10 mile ride today. I absolutely love the handling and ride quality, and it fits me perfectly. Unfortunately, like all of my other SSFG rides with small frames with 700c wheels and wide tires, there is a lot of toe overlap with the front tire. I expect to ride this bike as a singlespeed only, so this won’t be a problem for me, but just something to consider if you buy this size bike and expect to ride it fixed. One other thing to notice is that the 32mm tires have major lightbulbing on the narrow Wabi rims, and have to be completely deflated to clear the brake blocks when installing the wheels. As to quality, it’s as close to perfection as I’ve ever seen in any steel frameset regardless of cost. The paint is a sparkly yellow that is truly stunning.

Now, if Wabi would just make a 45cm Thunder……..
