I toss my bibs in the washing machine alongside all my other clothes.
I then hang em to dry.
Lastly, I toss em in a drawer and they sit until I need em.
I have never hand washed them.
I have never washed them on delicate.
I have never had to 'carefully' dry them...and don't even know what that could mean.
I have never used chamois cream for 'best performance'.
If all those things are needed for someone to wear bibs, yeah I agree that sounds awful.
But maintenance for my bibs are no different from any of my jerseys...wash, line dry, store. About as little effort as I could ever expect.
