Your RD is compatible with indexing. Indexing is done in the shifter. Shimano still makes 6 speed shifters.
If you still want to replace the RD, any long cage (SGS) derailleur will work as long as it's 6 7 8 9 and road 10 speed, and
doesn't say Dyna-Sys or Linkglide. You still need a 6 speed shifter for a 6 speed freewheel or a 7 or 8 speed shifter for a 7 speed freewheel
