It’s the same thing for a bike. The Duotts Company warrants the bike for two years and states clearly in their warranty that they will supply all required parts at no charge. (Most of the reviews I read were happy with how well the company honors this warranty claiming to company honors all warranty claims quickly). We’ll see how well that stands up. Time will tell. However, In my (and my local bike shop’s) opinion, the “liability” claim is bogus and is simply an excuse to require people buy their bikes.
In this case the responsibility will go to you. I have little faith that a random no-name company is really going to be there to support their product. Having worked with some larger companies that won't support their products after 6 months I am dubious of some no-name claim of 24 months.

Good luck with it but don't expect miracles and know you might end up truly owning that bike and hopefully your local shop is willing to work with you because some of those bikes can be a pain to work on at home.
