Unexplained acronyms in forum posts remind me of a guy who posted one in a musician's forum a few years ago. Huge unbroken wall of text, with this one acronym buried in the middle. Several posters called him out on it.

Turned out that his two-letter acronym represented the first and second syllables of his misspelling of the name of some esoteric guitar effects pedal. Grrr.
