Albania is beautiful, especially the mountains. And I knew that, but what surprised me is the Vjosa river, which is beautiful on its own, but it also flows through gorgeous parts of the country so riding along the river is awe inspiring.
Also, old towns of Berat, Gjirokaster and Korçë are very, very interesting.
