Quite often, folks that like don't even want to "share" the bike paths with anyone not in lycra. But ebikes are making cycling a transportation option, not just recreational. And the use of e-assist means more cyclists out on those recreational pathways that used to be the sole purview of lycra roadies. they need to learn to share with others, lol. And, many e-bike riders were former MUGGLE bike riders who developed some arthritis or other health issues - and did not want to give up riding. I'd been riding and car-free for 4 years before I had health issues which necessitated some assist.
I don't know what a MUGGLE bike rider is but I would agree on everything else.
