They were trying to recruit kids to try the game. As a parent, that would have been a firm no.
I wouldn't want my kids to play either...because it looks like something they would get hurt playing...and both grew up jumping horses, which is anything but safe.
I wouldn't keep em from trying out bike polo due to pronouns being listed on a website. Those being listed would actually help my kids correctly address the players, so neither I nor my kids would view that as reason to not participate.
