Brazing cracked dropout?

Hello all, first post here. I’m a 50+ lifelong recreational rider that’s been working in the cycling industry for the past six years. The last 3 years as service manager at a very large performance oriented shop.

I recently acquired a 92 Yakota ATB frame made of Columbus off road tubing. I’ve noticed a hairline crack in the drive side dropout, lower portion directly in front of the axle cradle. It goes all the way through the thickness of the dropout but has not traveled far enough to completely separate. I am considering stop drilling the crack and brazing with 56% silver to fill the crack.

I have no brazing experience but I do have an oxy acetylene setup and a few frames to practice on.

Thoughts and advice appreciated,

Thanks!
