Another trip. Came back with some Trek frames and a whole bunch of NOS Nisi tubulars laced to Miche hubs. I think these are Benotto wheels.

At any rate, this is what's hanging about the shop now.

A client's pre-'73 Super Course. I remember when they assembled it for him; don't know what it's back for.

There's this weird, purple, titanium (inside of the headtube definitely looks it) "TEAM USA" frame. No serial number, no markings, no nothing.

The box pile is shrinking. Now it's a pyramid.

The GTs. I didn't realize what a boat anchor the silver ones were until I started organizing things and moved the two next to the ZR 2000.

I had a Tony Shalhoub moment and went on a tear organizing the mess on the floor. I grouped the Nishiki road frames and the Benottos. That second Benotto in the third row is a Model 2000 with Ishiwata 019 tubing. Rare to see anything other than a 800 or 850 down here. The gold one in the middle is another Model 1000.

A few more oddballs that came from the main pile. 2005 Raleigh Grand Prix, if I'm not mistaken.

Hideous.

The Trek pile. I think there's another VW team replica frame in one or both of the boxes.

One of those 950s came back home with me today along with three Trek 2000 Alpha SL frames and a Trek Hilo (along with some small Gary Fisher hardtails).

Team Issue Gary Fisher. Very light aluminum frame.

I brought home six of these Bontrager 26" radial laced front wheels with the promise that I would de-lace them and scrap the hubs. These are brand-new radial laced wheels; three of the six had snapped simply from age. Definitely one to add to the "death hub" list.
