Approximate value new with the carbon wheels for both would be 12.5k-ish and 14.1k if you add HST, which is a factor incentive to buy on the used marketplace. So depreciation of 6.7-7k sounds decent. The marketplace for these types of bikes appears strong in TO, especially with new tariff pricing coming into effect.

Agree on the removal of components for value is rare, but without knowing the demand for SS or the ease of removal, there may be a monetary incentive, especially since it drives the sale of the bike.
