A week ago, I popped into the Billy Goat Bicycle Company bike shop in Kirkwood, MO, a suburb of St. Louis. The shop has a long history under the previous owner, and displays a lot of historic and interesting items. One that caught my attention on this visit was a bike that is badged as Shimano Aero, and sports the Shimano 600AX group. Pretty neat, and has some of the more extreme aero treatments of the era. It appears to be very similar to the bike shown by the OP.
