The cranks are English threaded. It came to me with some Nashbar-branded dual sided SPD pedals which I pulled for other uses. I tossed on a set of quill pedals (MKS, I think). The cranks might have been French threaded to start, but they certainly aren't now. (Even if they were French, I have some Hozan pedal taps to Anglify them.)
