What I can tell you is that my MAX bike is the second hardest riding of my 11 bikes. Only a Cannondale with a 3.0 frame from 1995 beats it. To be sure, it is responsive, corners like its on rails, and wants to go FAST, but I always find myself searching for the smoothest line on slightly rough pavement, which I don't on my other steel bikes.
