Two sets. 20,000km of experience each. These two set are already dead. I currently have two more sets installed on two bikes, which have about 10,000km each. Both sets are already getting kind of bad. The indexing gets sloppy gradually until eventually you toss the shifter in the trash.
So in total about 60,000km of experience spread amongst four sets of Microshift bar end shifters. These are my and my wife's touring bikes. Our touring bikes get hit with a lot of distance.
All these shifters were purchased post-COVID by the way. I'm not talking about some ancient models of their old stuff being used for years and years. It's all current model shifters on new installs.
How do they compare to Shimano barcons in durability?
