A couple of weeks ago, my Saturday student and I were working on his bike. The job was to replace the worn chain, but I noticed something I had forgotten about: the brakes don't align properly, or at least the front doesn't. The pads are too low and pointed down too much. I've tried everything with various kinds of washers. Maybe these are the wrong brakes. Any idea what would do the trick? I prefer to ask here before going to the Mechanics section. People are nicer here.
