It has to fit and appeal to me. Since it's a future bike, I don't yet know the things that will be the main must haves.

BB type and brake type will be low on the list if not the bottom. While a standard round seat post and standard threadless stem to handlebar interface will be somewhat desired. I doubt at the tier level I'll be looking for that any bikes will have them. So they aren't really a concern either. Shimano will be preferred. But SRAM's okay too.

So maybe it's just color and looks.
