The specs for my Domane indicate has a Bontrager hub. I assume it has a Shimano free hub, but I'm vintage and don't really know about these newfangled contraptions you kids like. I don't know if it is ridiculously loud because I'm hard of hearing. But if I can hear it without my hearing aids, perhaps it would fill the bill. But I feel it would be moderately priced and properly maintained the longevity should be as good as it needs to be.

And I like noisy freewheels and free hubs too.
