Thanks for some info and the thoughts, guys.
I had some notion the brand was based in Colorado but no: it was Moorpark and then Van Nuys so solidly in SoCal and they seemed to have a LOT more BMX models than all else, followed by MTN Bikes, and lastly Road models. Cozy was connected first to WSI and then Diamondback (a WSI brand) before striking off on his own.

Said that the name combined Pre for Precision plus the surname (Park) of his Korean-born mentor.
