Sponsors change, too. Though this is a HIGHLY inconvenient time for it, after WT submissions. I wonder if the team application included some guarantees from Premier Tech? Or just someone who was banking on the come? I bet that will keep some lawyers busy.
I suspect Adams *could* guarantee the funding gap himself for "Cycling Academy" placeholder name. The key questions seem to become 1) will he want to, particularly with fewer stars of David on the media coverage, and 2) even if the money is there, will the UCI decide all the baggage on the non-sporting aspects of the application (ethics, organization, administration) overcome the sporting criteria, where CA<--IPT's standing surely warrants priority acceptance. We'll find out o/a Dec 10.
