Agree, but my mild objection is that it does not give a meaningful number. Mine was (I think) 613, which sounds terrible.
My report: "Total Agatston calcium score of 613 implies extensive plaque burden. High likelihood of at least
one significant coronary artery stenosis (>50% diameter). Score is increased from prior exam."

But since I am totally asymptomatic and easily "passed" the treadmill stress test, this tells me that the Ca score was not really indicative of anything useful or actionable. Perhaps skipping all that anxiety inducing testing and going right to a stress test might have been insightful, but as my doc tells me, "you do a stress test three times a week already!"

So as the above post suggests, I stay on my statin and carry a cell phone (and Road ID).
