Bikes: several Eddy Merz (ride like Eddy, braze like Jim!)

I am not an MAVIC expert and I suspect that other than rims/hubs, they weren't imported very well.

I suspect the only time we see these parts is because they came off an imported bike and taken off.

When Merziac offered me the opportunity to restore this frame, I asked a group of BS enthusiasts and one offered this one up. They charged what I think is full/normal market value ($50) based on past ebay sales.

Would have been interesting if all the frame builders adopted this tech. No more worrying about French vs Italian vs English vs Swiss threading.

Oh well.

Velo base might better answer your questions.

I imagine that if I had a cross-threaded (to-hell) BB, chamfering and using this may be a good solution.
