I don't know about any of you but I do not ride at 24-25 mph. For me, it's more like 15 mph average (a guess) but the traffic lights and stop signs significantly reduce even that figure. Heck, the beach bike paths have a posted 8 mph MAX speed limit (which is why I do not ride those sections of the bike path).
