I've had my watch on 24-hour since I was 10, when I thought it was cool. Then I got used to it and couldn't stand having it the other way. I get the weirdest looks when people glance at my watch.
As for metric versus imperial, I'm fine with the way it is now in America, even being an engineer. I do my calculations in metric and I fill my car up in standard!
