Actually, she gets it. Been there, did that. Stokers rule. Yeah, I'm a lucky SOB. That said, I kinda don't get it myself. Maybe it's an evolutionary thing associated with survival. But yes, most folks think I'm nuts, which is a fair appraisal. OTOH, at the gym folks say, "You're how old?" So there's that. On my way back, squatted 125 for 12 yesterday. Yeah, that hurt.
Actually, it's just egoism. Nothing wrong with that when appropriate.
