I might actually try some different bars and see if I can have a play with lever adjustment. I'd like to think that after a bit more time she might get used to it, but it's hard to say for sure.

I can buy PRO bars easily online here. I've actually got a spare set of those bars in the garage I think. I'll have to have a look as that might be a good thing to try. The first thing I did to my own gravel bike was replace the bars, so I'm not sure why I overlooked this.
