We had no problems with that ferry, used simple cord and 1" web strap that I always carry with me to help secure. The one thing I would impress upon you if you are going to be riding during the touristy season is that, make sure you arrange for your hotel, B & B, or where ever you plan to spend the evening, before and/or after the ferry well in advance. Those two communities and every town nearby for several miles will book up and it can be very tough to get a room at the last minute. Oh and they will not be cheap accomodations by any means if that matters to you.
