I checked out the local performance this weekend and the double points are a scam. Any other weekend of the year will find half price tubes/socks/gloves/lights/nutrition/ + more misc accessories but this weekend maybe 1 or 2 consumables were on sale, I think the only thing were road tubes for $2. It's a good deal if you want to buy a big ticket item on sale like a bike or something (but I would never buy a bike from PB).

In fact I had to print out several items from the website that were on sale to price match but not on sale in the store. The sales manager was almost embarrased that I mentioned how crappy the prices were and as a regular he knew I was telling the truth.
I'll walk in there next spring sale (in a couple weeks) and load up.
