I built up a pair years ago. I wasn’t very heavy so I didn’t have any trouble with them. In fact the ride was sublime. I still have a single one in my stash. Eventually I’m going to lace it with a pair of Zues hubs with titanium axles. I’ve heard on eBay they go for a fortune.
