It's a Moulton "shopper" (I don't recall the real model name), before the Moulton space-frame bikes. A seminal design in bike history. The shoppers had great utility, due to the small wheels, more space on the racks above (standard OEM, not upgraded, note the dedicated bags to match the shapes), and the front rack was fixed and not steered so more stabile. They also had a bit of rubber suspension front and rear; Later companies that took up production of them, eliminated the suspension as a cost savings, and there were rear arm/frame cracks because peak shock loads were increased drastically without that small bit of suspension.

That one says Stowaway, the frame down tube separates to stash in a car trunk. Not sure if the original shoppers had that feature.

I don't know if they were formally sold in the USA, or someone brought that bike over from the U.K. that Nichelle is riding, probably a studio bike.
