Riding them for about a year now on my communtes and longer rides on hills (even slowing down hard on the downhills and some skidding on dry pavement). No cracks yet even though I've ridden through potholes, but I am a light rider (under 150 lbs.). Great hubs though, smooth and spin forever. Definetly lighter than most. I don't think I'd recommend them for daily/street use for most people though (considering their $ and what they're designed for).
