Worse than not getting a new bike is getting a new bike I can't ride. I've seen too many marketplace ads about a bike that got ridden a handful of times and then it got parked due to injury.
I fully expect to ride and ride hard again, I figured a little bit of discretion wouldn't hurt. It's not the last one ever made.
