Brompton now has the 400% gear inch range with the 12s 4x3s, 4s advance derailleur + 3s BWR IGH but its only for the 6" (even on the T-line: the customer pays 5000€ to have an ultra lightweight beautiful titanium frame and then this investment is ruined by a more than 1kg outdated Sturmey Archer IGH).
In the advertisement for this transmission, Brompton claims that this 400% gear inch range is a major improvement of the too limited 6s-300%, but even if some stolen pictures of test G-line with an Alfine 11, also 400%, were shown, the bike was eventually commercialized with an Alfine 8!?
