Bikes: 2003 Lemond Alpe D' Huez... plus a " few" more :)

Shimano 9 speed cassette difference ?
Just wondering what the differences are with many choices.

Here are a few examples

All Shimano must be 12-25 gear ratio

CS HG - 50
CS HG - 400
CS - 6500
If someone could tell me the difference, I'd be greatly appreciative.
