It's like he thinks he's doing his civic duty by racking up all those fines. Man.. I nearly lost my mind when I got *one* $35 ticket last year. Of course, that was also because I had just parked accross from Suspect Video on Markham, ran in, pick up a video off the shelf and paid for it (no line). I was in there for about 3 minutes, tops.
my suggestion would be to stop getting tickets. people, all he was doing was dropping his kids off at school, for the love of god someone think of the children! the children! my wife works as a teacher and tells me that traffic caused from parents dropping their kids off is a huge problem that causes major delays. how far does richler live from his kids' school i wonder. i know some of the richlers live in cabbagetown (long story) to unless the kids are being sent to UCC or something, here's an idea: walk your kids to school, genius!
i hate parking tickets too and i actually feel that the city it overly harsh on street parking but $3000? that guy must have money to flush down the toilet...
