no update since September!
I finally got a winter ride on the RoadUno 3x1. Probably on the very last day.
I changed up the brake levers to a kind of mustache bar set up. I've got the same thing on a set of flipped Albastache bars and a set of flipped Albatross bars. (i guess it's like the folk singer says: "last night i dreamt i bought a bicycle just like mine; what is it about never feelin' satisfied?")
I got so gung-ho to get out for a nice-day spin, I didn't realize I had not clipped and crimped the brake cables.
I also got a mile or so down the road and realized - i forgot my 15mm wrench! I hope i don't flat. About 6 miles from home, I got a pinch flat. I attempted to patch it. No joy in Mudville. . . . or DirtRoadville, in my case.
I started walking and called Awesome Wife for an EXFIL.
This pic makes the dirt roads look pretty smooth. And most of the time that's accurate. Still being winter, there were a few long stretches of actual gravel rocks. So I pinched a tube.
cheers.
