You make an excellent point. I had a situation in a very small town in Portugal where the operator was remote and they provided an access code to enter the establishment as well as the room. The in operator did not speak English, and I could not communicate in Portuguese, which caused a major problem. I reached out to Booking.com. They Found a Portuguese English translator and assisted us with the interaction as there were technical problems with the Remote access device.
