Quite the opposite! The whole plan every detail and book every stop thing would take part of the adventure out of it for me.

It seems that there is one day per tour where everything goes wrong. But the good news is that weather forecasting gets slightly better every year, I am old enough that I can remember forecasts that were less accurate than a roll of the dice.
