With limited time this morning, I took a short spin to the duck pond. The temperature was over 60 and below 70, perfect. A light drizzle kept everyone away, so I had the whole park to myself to ride the rain soaked, mud covered, goose poop slicked paths as fast as I felt comfortable with keeping in mind I bruise easy and heal slow.
The more I ride this bike the more I like it. That is almost as risky as the slick path around the pond. I keep thinking about having the bike repainted or powder coated even though the job would cost more than the bike is worth. I still think it would make me happy, and that could tip the benefit cost analysis toward a refinish. But I'm also cheap so there's that.
