Thanks. I made it to Star. My BIL made Eagle but he was very driven by his dad. My older kid went all the way thru Cub Scouts, but his first year of Boy Scouts was miserable. They have a lot of things that should interest him. But the base load of getting along with people, and frequent organized camping and hiking which he despises, proved to be too much to ask. When I tried to encourage him how great it could be, he'd only say how he missed the Pinewood Derby. I really liked the troop, they were very well organized with a foundation and about 30 years continuity. I'll try the younger one on them if he ever shows interest.
