Congratulations! I know the feeling. People who have never tried will never know. People can be impressed, but if they've never even attempted even a sprint triathlon, that impression rings hollow. They cannot grasp even the audacity of attempting something so bold, so challenging. Love this! I know I get asked a lot about the hours of training. Even though you tell them you are training X hours a week, they have no idea what that actually encompasses. Missed family time. Missed work time and trying to keep up with work, the additional time it takes to get to wher you are training, the time spent changing, the laundry that builds up from training, the lack of sleep, the early morning, the late nights, the mental struggles during training. It is a lot.
I haven't forgot about the race write up. Still working on it. Trying to catch up to work right now. LOL. But I am almost done.
