It's doing things to me mentally. It's the longest I've been off the bike since 1988, but then I could walk and go places and even work, (I was teaching automotive classes then, not wrenching). So this is the longest I have ever been sedentary. Being off the bike wouldn't be as bad if I could do long walks or even hike in the hills.

The landlord (best landlord ever) wrote today to remind me that brush clearance is due this coming Friday. This includes pine needles in the rain gutters and trimming small trees and shrubs. I guess I have to pay someone to do it, or risk messing up the healing of my foot, or leave it and risk the landlord getting hit with a fine (unlikely).
