I try to drink a bottle an hour. On a 7 hour ride, that would be a ton of fluid, necessitating a couple of rest stops. But then not everyone sticks to the bottle/hour rule.
I expect you may be flirting with dehydration. I almost always have to pee after about 3 hours.
